The primary function of a leader is to convey a vision of what the organization is to accomplish, and to inspire and empower all those who work for the organization to make an optimal contribution to the fulfillment of that vision – at the same time as acting in alignment with their values.
Thus a leader must be a thinker, an inspirer, and a persuader.
