Leadership skills development
It’s time to invest in yourself
Leadership skills development
Who benefits most from developing their leadership skills? Executives, senior leaders, emerging leaders, and anyone who wants to identify different fields where they can excel, and pull up the courage to do something about it.
It’s your turn to invest in yourself. It’s never too late to reach for what you really want. It’s never too late to find out that you have more skills, resources, and opportunities than you imagined.
Communicating with impact
Your job as a leader is to make decisions, then communicate them to your team in ways that motivate and inspire them to take action.
This session helps you communicate confidently and effectively in formal and informal situations. You’ll understand how to make your spoken communications clear, engaging and persuasive.
Through experiential learning, you’ll understand how to communicate with impact – to craft your message and fine-tune your delivery style before presenting powerfully to audiences of any size and level of seniority.
Some leaders seem larger than life. They have a presence – something that makes them stand out from the crowd and command attention.
By working together in this session we’ll unearth your natural presence, and nurture the gravitas and charisma that makes people take note.
This experiential workshop is bespoke to your needs. Together we’ll find out what’s holding back your natural confidence. Then we’ll see what small changes ignite the biggest improvement. We’ll work to help you maximise your personal power without losing your authenticity.
However ‘right’ your ideas and decisions are as a leader, they’ll never be more than ideas if you lack the ability to inspire others into action.
People have to know that you’re speaking with experience and from the heart. So in this session we’ll use the power of narrative to let your authenticity shine through.
You’ll acquire practical tools, gather insights, and discover the courage and capability to take your team with you.
Coaching as a leader
Coaching skills allow you to develop trust-based relationships and empower people inside and outside your team. Once team members feel more confident and empowered, they up their game, which gives you the time to devote to more fruitful, value-adding activities.
Attend this workshop to revise and refresh your coaching toolkit, and learn new techniques for managing tougher leadership situations.
The highly interactive session is built to fit your personal goals. We’ll focus on skills that you can put into practice straight away.
Developing high-performance teams
Exceptional leaders recognise the leadership that’s innate within their team. Most important of all, they have the confidence and the capability to let it shine.
This hands-on session is bespoke to the needs of your team. It could include any, or all, of the following:
- Accelerating the integration of a new team, or introducing new members to an existing team.
- Defining a common vision that’s aligned with the organisation and stands out as compelling for each member. A compelling vision inspires motivation, sense of purpose and commitment.
- Identifying and working with the skills, strengths and talents of each individual. This builds the team because they draw on each other’s strengths – and it helps each member gain a sense of their own worth.
- Resolving conflicts that hold a team back. The conflicts may be rooted in the leadership, the individuals or the dynamics of the group. When they’re resolved, the team can flourish.
This team session pairs well with ‘Facilitating high-quality meetings’. It is perfect for a team event at which you want to reconnect with your team members, assess how you can best work together, or gear up for a fresh start.
Facilitating high-quality meetings
Have you ever sat through a meeting that’s dragged on, with tempers running high, people talking over each other, and no decisions to show for it? As a leader, you don’t have time to waste – nor do your team members.
In this practical team session, we’ll look at the conditions that facilitate high-quality meetings and spark the collective intelligence within your team. It’s perfect for developing your facilitation skills together with your team.
Some leaders also find it valuable for thinking through an issue collectively, or coming up with a new solution or product.
